Stainless Steel case in finely brushed satin finish
Sturdy high-quality fine grain medium brown leather strap with decorative tan top-stitching and rivets, has a double row of holes and a double tang shaped like the Hamilton H. Also includes a matching strap extender than can be used to wear the watch over a flight suit
Sapphire crystal is virtually scratchproof
Black face features highly luminous hands and markers for night-time visibility and two silver sub dials for a distinctive look.

Half see-through caseback allows you to view the fine Swiss movement with the "Hamilton" signed rotor.

There are detailed instructions for calculating the cross-wind component using, wind speed and bearing and the inner rotating bezels in the operating manual (these instructions are printed in English, French, Spanish and 11 other languages)
A credit card size plastic cross-wind graph for your wallet (with a number of handy conversion factors such as kilometer/mile, gallon/liter listed on back) is included at the back of the manual.
